So you probably won’t know, but I suffer from oily, acne prone skin and everything seems to break me out, which really sucks! I’ve been using the Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate for a couple of years now but fancied a change so started hunting online to try and find something that would focus more on clearing my skin. Everywhere I looked I noticed Sunday Riley products keep popping up. I did some research and decided to splurge on their new U.F.O Ultra-Clarifying Face Oil from Space NK.
U.F.O contains 1.5% Salicylic Acid, and is designed to help fight acne and clear congested pores. It contains a number of beneficial plant oils to calm, rehydrate and protect skin, including cucumber seed oil, jojoba oil, pomegranate oil and flax seed oil.
The oil, which retails at £68, comes in a chic glass bottle and has a dropper dispenser. It’s a bright alien green colour (which I love) and has a really strong herbal scent, which you’ll either love or hate, but I kind of like it. It goes onto the skin really nicely and absorbs pretty fast.
At first I was a bit worried that it would irritate my skin because it has such a strong scent, however I was really pleasantly surprised. I’ve been applying 3 drops of this to my freshly cleansed face every night and I noticed a massive difference after only a couple of days. My skin started to clear up (yey), my red acne scars started to fade and my skin kind of had a glow to it. I’ve even had complements from people telling me how much better my skin looks which feels absolutely amazing!
I feel a lot more confident now to go out without makeup on, which to me is great because normally I have full foundation on wherever I go! Now I know it’s quite a pricey product and I don’t normally splurge on skincare, however personally I think it’s worth paying because of how well it works with my skin. To me, U.F.O really is an out-of-this-world product and I would really recommend it to others who also suffer from acne prone skin.
If you know of any fab skincare products to try let me know in the comments and I hope you enjoyed this post :)
