LUSH ‘Let the Good Times Roll’ Cleanser – £6.75 / 100g

Hi everyone, I picked up this cleanser the other week in my nearest LUSH store and wanted to let you guys know about it.

I’ve been trying to find a new daily exfoliating cleanser that works great with my skin for absolutely ages and have had no luck what so ever; they normally end up breaking me out since I have really sensitive skin, which is really annoying!

I was watching one of Jamie Genevieve‘s videos (which by the way are amazing), where she used this cleanser and said it was really nice, so I thought I may as well try it, and omg I’m so pleased I did!

I’ve been using this twice a day with my Magnitone Lucid (I have a review on this coming soon) and I really love this product! As it contains Maize flour and polenta, it gently exfoliates, which is so nice. The cinnamon powder stimulates your skin and leaves it feeling lovely and fresh and clean. Even though it is a daily exfoliator, it’s so gentle on your skin, it’s lovely!

At first I thought I was going to get bored of using this because I’m a really impatient person, and before you apply it to your face, you have to put it into the palm of your hand first and add water until it’s a paste, which I originally thought was going to take ages, but it literally takes a couple of seconds. I was so pleased haha.

Another thing I love about this is the smell, it literally smells like biscuits, it’s amazing! If you like sweet scents, then you’ll really like the smell of this.

LUSH CLEANSER EDIT3I’m always on the look out for new skincare products to try, so let me know some of your favourites in the comments :)

favourites editHi everyone, today I really wanted to do my monthly favourites for you because I haven’t yet done one and it really excites me talking about products I love! This was pretty hard for me to only pick a few cause there’s been so many things I’ve been loving in April, but I managed :)

favourites2 editMAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Lightscapade
I’ve had this MSF for absolutely ages and was never too fussed about it until recently. I always thought it was too sheer because I quite like a strong highlight, but now I absolutely love it! I apply it over the top of the Bobbi Brown highlight in Pink Glow and it looks so so pretty.

MAC Lipstick in Velvet Teddy
I had wanted this lipstick for such a long time and whenever I’ve visited to my nearest MAC counters it’s always been sold out, which was so frustrating. I was lucky enough to get it recently and I am absolutely in love with it. It has a ‘your lips but better’ effect, and since it has a matte finish, it lasts quite a long time on the lips. It’s such a pretty colour and I’ve been loving it a lot!

favourites3 edit

Nip+Fab Dragon’s Blood Fix Serum
If you read one of my recent posts on Nip+Fab products, then you’ll know that I love this serum. It smells amazing and since I have dry skin, it always leaves it feeling amazing and hydrated. I’ve found that it’s really helped keep my skin clear too, which is fab!

Makeup Revolution Pro Fix Oil Control Makeup Fixing Spray
I won a competition recently and got sent a ton of goodies from Makeup Revolution, including this fixing spray. As it’s been quite warm recently, I’ve been getting quite oily so I decided to try this and I absolutely love it! It literally only takes about 10 seconds to work, which is fab. To buy, this is only £5, which I think is absolutely amazing, so worth the money!

favourites4 edit

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in Fair
This is another product I don’t think I’ll ever stop loving, it has such good coverage and is so good at highlighting under my eyes, definitely my favourite drugstore concealer. For only £4.19, it’s incredible!

LiLash Eyelash Serum
I’ve been using this eyelash serum every night for about 9 weeks now and omg it’s so so good, I can already see a huge difference! Before my eyelashes were really annoying, they were so short and whenever I applied mascara would always look thick and clumpy and never long, yet now when I apply it they separate really well and look so long, I’m so obsessed with it! If your eyelashes are short and annoy you, then I would definitely recommend you try this out!

favourites6 editMakeup Revolution Iconic Pro 2 Palette
I have been using this palette so much recently, the shadows are so pigmented and so blendable, I absolutely love it! My favourite shade to wear daily in the crease is the mauve/purple colour next to the blue, it looks so pretty! I definitely recommend it!

favourites7 editMakeup Revolution Ultra Brow Palette in Medium to Dark
So far I’ve only been using the arch enhancing cream and the highlight, but I really love them. I find they really help to define my brows and leaves them looking so nice and quite strong. I’m dying to use the other things in the palette, it’s so lovely!

Let me know in the comments what your favourite product was throughout April :)

Hi everyone. I went shopping a couple of days ago and picked up some amazing bargains in TKMAXX so I thought I’d show you :) At the minute, TKMAXX is probably my favourite shop to buy makeup because you can get some amazing brands for a fraction of the price. If you get the chance to I would definitely have a pop in!

Too Faced

Lip Injection Color Bomb in Bigger Berry & Eastwood Red
These were the first things I saw and immediately knew I needed to buy them! Originally, I only purchased one, which was Bigger Berry, however I realised that I probably wouldn’t get them that cheap anywhere else so I went back and bought another shade. I was lucky enough to find these for £5.99 each, which is great considering they normally cost £15.

Normally I don’t like lip tints because I can never find a colour that I like, but I absolutely love these ones. They smell so fruity and amazing. I don’t really like wearing pinky colours, so I really like that these are buildable so I can have a very sheer colour. Another thing I love is that these are lip plumpers. I’m not really sure why, but I love the tingly feeling you get when these are applied, makes me feel like they’re actually working. I find them so moisturising as well, they leave my lips super soft.

Amazing Face Foundation in Warm Honey –
I was sceptical to buy this at first because it’s quite dark, however in the end I decided to because it was only £5.99 and I thought it would be a really nice/subtle contour shade. I really don’t understand how TKMAXX can sell this for £5.99 when it would normally cost £23.

I really like how this contains SPF15, since it’s starting to get warmer in the UK now it’s going to be really nice for summer. I haven’t actually used this yet, however I’m very excited to try it out, I hope it doesn’t end up looking to orangey on my skin.

Fine Pencil in Classic –
Like the foundation, I wasn’t sure whether to purchase this or not because when I tested it, it felt quite sharp and hard, which put me off a little. The thing that swayed me was the colour, I really love the colour! It’s kind of a dull grey colour, which I think would make a lovely eyeliner.

I found that when it warmed up, it softened up a lot, which I was so pleased about because I think it’s a really nice product and I would have been pretty gutted if I didn’t end up liking it. I managed to get this for £4.99 instead of £11, so I was pretty pleased.

Lipstick in Magnetism
The lipstick was a massive yes for me. Illamasqua is probably my favourite brand at the minute so when I saw this for £5.99 I couldn’t say no! It’s classed as a deep rasberry pink and is such a pretty colour. Like I said above, I don’t normally go for pinks but this is a really lovely colour and I think it would look really nice over the top of a brown lip liner.

Stay All Day Vinyl Lipgloss in Terracotta Vinyl
I’ve never tried anything from Stila before so when I saw these products I was really excited. This is another thing that I knew I needed to buy as soon as I saw it. It’s a gorgeous browny/orangy colour, so basically like the name a terracotta haha.

I love that this lip product contains organic green coffee oil because my lips get really dry, so using something on them that contains oil to help hydrate them is great. Another thing I love about this is the smell, it smells so sweet and toffee like, I love it.

Like all of the others, I got this for a really good price. I only payed £4.99 for it instead of £18

Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Liner in Indigo
I’ve been looking for a new eyeliner for a while now, so I thought I would try this Stila one. I always wear black, so I decided to have a change it up a bit and go for a navy colour. I have blue eyes so I was a bit worried that it would look a bit odd, however I think it could look quite nice applied when I’m experimenting with different eyeshadow colours.

The only only thing that i’m not too keen on is that it’s waterproof. I know it’s probably a good thing, however it takes so long and is so hard to take off, however for £3.99 it was a bargain.

Sparkle Waterproof Liquid Liner in Electric
Now i’ve definitely saved the best until last. Th is my absolute favourite thing I bought, I’m obsessed with it! I don’t think I’ve ever seen and eyeliner as pretty in my entire life. Its’s so pigmented and sparkly and amazing! This is one of those products that when you get you can’t top looking at it and trying it. the fact I picked it up for only £3.99 as well instead of £14 just made my day.

I know it’s not an everyday colour, but I think winged out it will look so pretty for a night out. It will really reflect the light and look amazing! I also really like how it has a thin sponge tip, makes it a lot easier to apply.

Hi everyone, a couple weeks ago I received these lovely bath truffles in the post and wanted to try them out and review them for you.

So for you who don’t know, JOIK was founded by Eva-Maria Õunapuu in 2005 and is a natural cosmetic brand from Estonia. They have a fantastic collection of products so I would definitely check them out. (https://www.lovelula.com/products?utf8=✓&keywords=joik)

official joik boxThey were kind enough to send me some of their White Chocolate Bath Truffles to try out and omg I absolutely love them! For starters, I really like the packaging, it’s really simple yet looks really classy. I think the silver writing works really well.

As soon as you open the box you are hit with the amazing scent of white chocolate, which is divine. They literally smell as though you could just eat them, although I wouldn’t really recommend doing that haha. I was so excited to use these after smelling them and seeing them!
truffles out edit 2 So since they contain cacao seed butter, they left my skin feeling absolutely amazing, like I can’t even describe how soft and velvety it felt! As soon as the truffle had melted, I could see the oil in the water so I knew it was going to be great. I have really dry skin so these were incredible for me, so moisturising!

Another thing I love about these truffles is that they contain dried flowers. I think it just makes them look so pretty and very feminine. Although I personally did scoop them out of the bath, I still think they are really nice. I just really, really love this product!
close up of truffleThe only really downside for me was that they didn’t melt very well, I had to break them up a bit but it definitely didn’t put me off.

I absolutely love this product and would 100% recommend it! I look froward to trying other things from JOIK, hopefully they are as good as these truffles. If you want to try them for yourself here is a link to be able to get them in the UK –

If you decide to try them I hope you love them as much as I do!

nip and fab editHi everyone! I went shopping the other day and picked up a few products from Nip+Fab and thought I’d show you them.

So as you probably know, Nip+Fab have been in the public eye a lot recently, having recruited the very stylish Kylie Jenner as their brand ambassador. If you know me, then you’ll know how much I love Kylie, so being able to use the same skin care products as she does make me very happy.

Dragon’s Blood Fix Plumping Serum – £19.95

After looking online at Kylie’s picks and at photos from the Nip+Fab event, I knew I wanted to give the Dragon’s Blood Serum a try. I love the smell of Dragon’s Blood anyway, so it was a pretty obvious choice for me. Since it contains Velvet flower, it really helps to enhance moisturisation and illuminate my skin. Also, the Dragon’s Blood, which comes from the Croton Lechleri tree, forms a protective film on your skin to protect it against environmental aggressors, which I absolutely love! I find that this product really hydrates my skin and leaves it feeling really soft and velvety and so far I really love it!

Glycolic Instant Fix Mask – £12.95

I was originally going to get the Dragon’s Blood Fix Mask to go with the serum, however they didn’t have it in store so I went for this one instead. I absolutely love the smell of this, it’s very fresh and smells kind of like grapefruit. I used this mask last night and once I washed it off it left my skin feeling amazing, I really really like it! Since it contains Glycerin, it really moisturises, revives and helps restore skin suppleness, which is great!

I’m so excited to go out and try some more of these products, especially the Glycolic Fix Pads and the Yoga Blend Body Lotion. Thanks to Kylie Jenner for introducing me to this wonderful brand!

Let me know in the comments if you’ve tried any of the Nip+Fab skincare products :)

Mini Easter LUSH Haul

IMG_4396Hi everyone, hope you all had a great Easter! I received a few LUSH goodies so I thought I’d do a little haul for you.
I love how LUSH come out with themed products near Easter, Christmas etc, I think it’s a really cool idea, always something new to look forward to.

carrot editBunch of Carrots

I definitely prefer bath bombs to bubble bars, however when I saw these carrots I couldn’t not have them, look how cute they are! I love the smell of these bubble bars, they smell kind of like earthy, but in a good way haha. They cost £5.95 to buy, however I don’t think that’s bad at all considering you get three, and they’re reusable.

pink egg editFluffy Egg

I love the smell of this bath bomb! It reminds me so much of candy floss, so if you like sickly/sweet smells then you’ll definitely love this. It only costs £2.95 which is so so good, I love it!

 Hoppity Poppity

This is such a cute little bath bomb! Although I’m not too keen of the scent, which is quite hard to describe, I think the fact it’s a bunny with a heart shaped nose is just so pleasing, I had to have it anyway, regardless of the scent. It’s only costs £2.50, which is a really good price. I’m so excited to see what colour it turns the water!

Golden Egg

I think this is probably my favourite out of the ones I got, it smells absolutely incredible. I smells kind of like toffee and chocolate mixed together, it’s amazing! It’s also very nice to look at, the gold glitter is so appealing, I obviously needed to have it. I love that it contains cocoa butter because it leaves your skin feeling so soft and lovely. This is a bath bomb melt, which is something I’ve never tried before so I’m pretty excited to use it. To buy it costs £3.75, which I think is a really good price.

Review – Zuzka Natural Beauty

Hi everyone, so I’ve been trying out a new moisturiser recently and thought I’d do a review for you.

When it comes to moisturiser, I tend to stick to the same ones, which are Benefit Total Moisture and the Simple Rich Moisturiser because I find they work really well with my skin. Since I have dry skin, I definitely prefer thicker moisturisers because I find that they keep my skin a lot more hydrated and my makeup sits a lot better.

zuzka cream edit3

I wanted a change so I thought why not give Zuzka a try. If you don’t know, Zuzka Natural Beauty is an organic beauty company created by Susan Kohutova. They very kindly sent me some of their Royal Gold Nourishing Day Cream to try out so I thought I’d tell you how I got on with it. I’ve never used any organic beauty products before so I was really excited to use this.

At first I wasn’t quite sure how I felt about it, but the more I use it the more I love it. I use this on a morning before putting my makeup on because it’s really thick so it works as a great base. I also use it on a night before I go to bed because it’s so moisturising and leaves my skin feeling really lovely. Since it contains Royal Jelly, it’s packed with vitamins so it’s really good for your skin, especially if you have dry or mature skin.

My favourite thing about this product is that although it has a scent, it doesn’t give me spots, which I love! Normally, products with fragrance in irritate my skin so finding something that doesn’t is great!

zuzka open editYou get a 50ml pot for £34.99, which is pretty pricey, but it’s such a great product so to me it’s worth it. When this is gone I will definitely be purchasing myself another. I don’t think I’ve ever been this satisfied with a moisturiser before, like I actually love this so much!

Another thing I really like about this is the packaging, I love the matte sides with the mirrored detail, it think it looks really sophisticated. The pink logo also works really well because the colours go so well together, I just think it looks pretty and expensive looking.

The only thing I don’t really like about this product is the scent, it’s a very clean smell. It isn’t an awful scent, it’s just that I prefer quite citrusy scents because I find them very refreshing.

zuzka cream on hand editI would definitely recommend you check out this company if you haven’t already and this cream, I’ll leave you a link here – Zuzka Natural Beauty – They do so many different skin care products, so if you’re into that then I think you’ll love it.

MAC Eyeshadows

eyeshadow editHi everyone! I popped into MAC the other day and picked up a couple of eyeshadows, so I thought why not show you them :)

If you know me, then you’ll know i’m obsessed with eyeshadow! Every time I go into MAC I just turn into the heart eye emoji, all the colours are absolutely incredible! Even if I have no intention on buying anything, I can’t help myself, I always seem to come away with something because it’s too pretty to leave behind.

For ages I’ve wanted Creep by Illamasqua, which is a very gorgeous pale matte lavender, however every time I’ve gone to purchase it it’s always been sold out, which is so annoying. So when I was in MAC, I tried to find something pretty similar, which was actually quite hard. In the end I chose Beautiful Iris and Satellite Dreams and I’m so so pleased I did!
eyeshadow edit2

Beautiful Iris was the first shadow I picked up. It’s a cool lavender with pink shimmer and has a veluxe pearl finish. It is so gorgeous! I use this shadow as an inner corner highlight most of the time because it really brightens my eyes and makes them look  more awake. I have also used this on the centre of my lid, which also looks pretty because it catches the light really well.

beautiful iris edit2

Satellite Dreams was the second shadow I picked up. It’s kind of plum/violet with shimmer. Like Beautiful Iris, this shadow also has a deluxe pearl finish, which I absolutely love! I tend to wear this on my lower lash line and in the outer corners because when it’s built up, it’s goes quite dark, which I really like. Blended together with Beautiful Iris is looks absolutely gorgeous, it reflects the light so well.

Orelia Jewellery

Hi everyone, so the other week I received this gorgeous little package in the post from Orelia and just had to show you!
So for those of you who don’t know, Orelia is a UK based jewellery company, which is sold online and in Topshop. I absolutely love this company, everything is so pretty!

I was lucky enough to be sent 2 pieces of jewellery and omg I am absolutely in love with them! I love the cards the jewellery came on, I think the gold and cream works really well together and fits with the jewellery really nicely.

ORELIA EDITThe first piece of jewellery I received was this mini tusk necklace, retailing at £15. I absolutely love this necklace, I think it’s so pretty and feminine. I love that the chain is gold, I think it fits with the mother of pearl tusk so well. It is smaller than I expected, however I don’t mind considering how appealing it is. I love that the chain is adjustable too because it makes it so much more wearable. I’ve been wearing this with a black top since it stands out really well, however I think it would look equally good with other colours too.

necklace edit

necklace on editThe second piece of jewellery I received was these star stud earrings retailing at £12, and omg these are so beautiful! As they’re made with Swarovski elements, they really catch the light and shine and look really pretty. I’ve had so many compliments on these earrings, I love them! Another good thing is that they’re a great size. I hate when you get earrings and the stud is so tiny that you can’t get hold of it properly, so I’m really happy these are  decent size. I think these would look lovely with multiple piercings as well as with just one.

earrings edit

I’d just like to say another massive thank you to Orelia and etailPR for sending me these really lovely pieces of jewellery. I would definitely recommend this company to all of you, it’s so affordable and is such good quality, I will definitely be purchasing more stuff from them!
