nip and fab editHi everyone! I went shopping the other day and picked up a few products from Nip+Fab and thought I’d show you them.

So as you probably know, Nip+Fab have been in the public eye a lot recently, having recruited the very stylish Kylie Jenner as their brand ambassador. If you know me, then you’ll know how much I love Kylie, so being able to use the same skin care products as she does make me very happy.

Dragon’s Blood Fix Plumping Serum – £19.95

After looking online at Kylie’s picks and at photos from the Nip+Fab event, I knew I wanted to give the Dragon’s Blood Serum a try. I love the smell of Dragon’s Blood anyway, so it was a pretty obvious choice for me. Since it contains Velvet flower, it really helps to enhance moisturisation and illuminate my skin. Also, the Dragon’s Blood, which comes from the Croton Lechleri tree, forms a protective film on your skin to protect it against environmental aggressors, which I absolutely love! I find that this product really hydrates my skin and leaves it feeling really soft and velvety and so far I really love it!

Glycolic Instant Fix Mask – £12.95

I was originally going to get the Dragon’s Blood Fix Mask to go with the serum, however they didn’t have it in store so I went for this one instead. I absolutely love the smell of this, it’s very fresh and smells kind of like grapefruit. I used this mask last night and once I washed it off it left my skin feeling amazing, I really really like it! Since it contains Glycerin, it really moisturises, revives and helps restore skin suppleness, which is great!

I’m so excited to go out and try some more of these products, especially the Glycolic Fix Pads and the Yoga Blend Body Lotion. Thanks to Kylie Jenner for introducing me to this wonderful brand!

Let me know in the comments if you’ve tried any of the Nip+Fab skincare products :)

Mini Easter LUSH Haul

IMG_4396Hi everyone, hope you all had a great Easter! I received a few LUSH goodies so I thought I’d do a little haul for you.
I love how LUSH come out with themed products near Easter, Christmas etc, I think it’s a really cool idea, always something new to look forward to.

carrot editBunch of Carrots

I definitely prefer bath bombs to bubble bars, however when I saw these carrots I couldn’t not have them, look how cute they are! I love the smell of these bubble bars, they smell kind of like earthy, but in a good way haha. They cost £5.95 to buy, however I don’t think that’s bad at all considering you get three, and they’re reusable.

pink egg editFluffy Egg

I love the smell of this bath bomb! It reminds me so much of candy floss, so if you like sickly/sweet smells then you’ll definitely love this. It only costs £2.95 which is so so good, I love it!

 Hoppity Poppity

This is such a cute little bath bomb! Although I’m not too keen of the scent, which is quite hard to describe, I think the fact it’s a bunny with a heart shaped nose is just so pleasing, I had to have it anyway, regardless of the scent. It’s only costs £2.50, which is a really good price. I’m so excited to see what colour it turns the water!

Golden Egg

I think this is probably my favourite out of the ones I got, it smells absolutely incredible. I smells kind of like toffee and chocolate mixed together, it’s amazing! It’s also very nice to look at, the gold glitter is so appealing, I obviously needed to have it. I love that it contains cocoa butter because it leaves your skin feeling so soft and lovely. This is a bath bomb melt, which is something I’ve never tried before so I’m pretty excited to use it. To buy it costs £3.75, which I think is a really good price.

Review – Zuzka Natural Beauty

Hi everyone, so I’ve been trying out a new moisturiser recently and thought I’d do a review for you.

When it comes to moisturiser, I tend to stick to the same ones, which are Benefit Total Moisture and the Simple Rich Moisturiser because I find they work really well with my skin. Since I have dry skin, I definitely prefer thicker moisturisers because I find that they keep my skin a lot more hydrated and my makeup sits a lot better.

zuzka cream edit3

I wanted a change so I thought why not give Zuzka a try. If you don’t know, Zuzka Natural Beauty is an organic beauty company created by Susan Kohutova. They very kindly sent me some of their Royal Gold Nourishing Day Cream to try out so I thought I’d tell you how I got on with it. I’ve never used any organic beauty products before so I was really excited to use this.

At first I wasn’t quite sure how I felt about it, but the more I use it the more I love it. I use this on a morning before putting my makeup on because it’s really thick so it works as a great base. I also use it on a night before I go to bed because it’s so moisturising and leaves my skin feeling really lovely. Since it contains Royal Jelly, it’s packed with vitamins so it’s really good for your skin, especially if you have dry or mature skin.

My favourite thing about this product is that although it has a scent, it doesn’t give me spots, which I love! Normally, products with fragrance in irritate my skin so finding something that doesn’t is great!

zuzka open editYou get a 50ml pot for £34.99, which is pretty pricey, but it’s such a great product so to me it’s worth it. When this is gone I will definitely be purchasing myself another. I don’t think I’ve ever been this satisfied with a moisturiser before, like I actually love this so much!

Another thing I really like about this is the packaging, I love the matte sides with the mirrored detail, it think it looks really sophisticated. The pink logo also works really well because the colours go so well together, I just think it looks pretty and expensive looking.

The only thing I don’t really like about this product is the scent, it’s a very clean smell. It isn’t an awful scent, it’s just that I prefer quite citrusy scents because I find them very refreshing.

zuzka cream on hand editI would definitely recommend you check out this company if you haven’t already and this cream, I’ll leave you a link here – Zuzka Natural Beauty – They do so many different skin care products, so if you’re into that then I think you’ll love it.

MAC Eyeshadows

eyeshadow editHi everyone! I popped into MAC the other day and picked up a couple of eyeshadows, so I thought why not show you them :)

If you know me, then you’ll know i’m obsessed with eyeshadow! Every time I go into MAC I just turn into the heart eye emoji, all the colours are absolutely incredible! Even if I have no intention on buying anything, I can’t help myself, I always seem to come away with something because it’s too pretty to leave behind.

For ages I’ve wanted Creep by Illamasqua, which is a very gorgeous pale matte lavender, however every time I’ve gone to purchase it it’s always been sold out, which is so annoying. So when I was in MAC, I tried to find something pretty similar, which was actually quite hard. In the end I chose Beautiful Iris and Satellite Dreams and I’m so so pleased I did!
eyeshadow edit2

Beautiful Iris was the first shadow I picked up. It’s a cool lavender with pink shimmer and has a veluxe pearl finish. It is so gorgeous! I use this shadow as an inner corner highlight most of the time because it really brightens my eyes and makes them look  more awake. I have also used this on the centre of my lid, which also looks pretty because it catches the light really well.

beautiful iris edit2

Satellite Dreams was the second shadow I picked up. It’s kind of plum/violet with shimmer. Like Beautiful Iris, this shadow also has a deluxe pearl finish, which I absolutely love! I tend to wear this on my lower lash line and in the outer corners because when it’s built up, it’s goes quite dark, which I really like. Blended together with Beautiful Iris is looks absolutely gorgeous, it reflects the light so well.

Orelia Jewellery

Hi everyone, so the other week I received this gorgeous little package in the post from Orelia and just had to show you!
So for those of you who don’t know, Orelia is a UK based jewellery company, which is sold online and in Topshop. I absolutely love this company, everything is so pretty!

I was lucky enough to be sent 2 pieces of jewellery and omg I am absolutely in love with them! I love the cards the jewellery came on, I think the gold and cream works really well together and fits with the jewellery really nicely.

ORELIA EDITThe first piece of jewellery I received was this mini tusk necklace, retailing at £15. I absolutely love this necklace, I think it’s so pretty and feminine. I love that the chain is gold, I think it fits with the mother of pearl tusk so well. It is smaller than I expected, however I don’t mind considering how appealing it is. I love that the chain is adjustable too because it makes it so much more wearable. I’ve been wearing this with a black top since it stands out really well, however I think it would look equally good with other colours too.

necklace edit

necklace on editThe second piece of jewellery I received was these star stud earrings retailing at £12, and omg these are so beautiful! As they’re made with Swarovski elements, they really catch the light and shine and look really pretty. I’ve had so many compliments on these earrings, I love them! Another good thing is that they’re a great size. I hate when you get earrings and the stud is so tiny that you can’t get hold of it properly, so I’m really happy these are  decent size. I think these would look lovely with multiple piercings as well as with just one.

I’d just like to say another massive thank you to Orelia and etailPR for sending me these really lovely pieces of jewellery. I would definitely recommend this company to all of you, it’s so affordable and is such good quality, I will definitely be purchasing more stuff from them! Recent Empties / Products I’ve Used Up

empty products editHi everyone, so recently I finished a few beauty products and thought I’d show you what they were. Personally I love being nosy and seeing what everyone’s used up, so I thought I’d show you some of my recent empties.

Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau de Parfum – £56

For ages this has been one of my all time favourite perfumes, it smells absolutely amazing! I’m not very good at describing scents, but it’s kind of musky and floral. Online, it’s described as having soft notes of wild strawberry, violet leaves and red grapefruit, combined with a heart of jasmine and violet petals plus gardenia. It’s a very feminine scent and one of my absolute favourites!

empty products edit2Malin + Goetz Vitamin E Face Moisturizer – £37

I received this sample with an ELLE Magazine some time ago and only started using it recently, and it actually really it. When I first started using it I thought it was breaking me out on my chin so I started to only apply it to my under eye are and it’s really lovely. Since it contains chamomile, allantoin and milk, it soothes my skin and leaves it really soft. I’ll definitely be purchasing the full version!

Tea Tree Pore Minimiser – £7.50

If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll know how much I love this product! I use it every single day under my foundation and it really makes a difference. Such a good product for £7.50 so I recommend buying one for yourself!

empty products edit3They’re Real! Mascara – £19.50

This used to be my holy grail mascara a while back until I started using L’Oréal Telescopic, then I kind of forgot about it. It caught my eye in my draw the other day and I got really excited because I forgot I had it, then when I opened it I noticed it had dried up, which  was pretty disappointing, but at least I got my use out of it.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer – £4.19

This is the best £4.19 I’ve ever spent! I am obsessed with this concealer, it works so great at brightening my under eye area, I love it! It lasts forever on my skin and is pretty much full coverage, so good coming from something so cheap. I’ve just finished scraping the tube to get the last remaining bits out, so I definitely think it’s time I stocked up on it haha. By far my favourite concealer, and I recommend it 100%.
